Finally, in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood, Wildseed’s all-vegan menu serves up good food that’s good for you their fresh, flavorful and surprisingly hearty plant-based dishes support the local community by sourcing seasonal ingredients from nearby farmers. Then, in San Jose, the menu at Zona Rosa transports you to Mexico, delivering creative, homemade dishes (and handmade tortillas!) alongside smoky mezcal and tequila-based cocktails. This place is a joke, the food is not that good, don't waste your money there are plenty of other quality dining options out there.Check, Please! Bay Area, season 18, episode 3, airs Thursday, May 4, at 7:30 pm, on KQED 9. I am done with this wannabee Italian chain. I explained the situation to the manager "Marty" that I was trying to enjoy my expensive dinner and didn't want to listen to that garbage - he asked me to move!!! So I guess Bravo would prefer to have foul mouthed guests buying drinks and speakerphones blasting f bombs for all to hear instead of customers spending top dollar on their food and drinks. While beginning the mediocre replacement meal a rude drinking guest a couple of seats away engaged in a loud speaker phone conversation with constant f bombs.Ĭall me old fashioned but when I walked in the door of Bravo Cucina I thought I was going to dine at a classy place and enjoy a quality meal and a relaxing Italian restaurant ambiance.WRONG on all counts! When I am spending hard earned money what I care about and expect from a quality dining establishment is quality food, service, and an atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the meal I am paying a premium for- sounds reasonable to me right?Īfter a false start where I was served the wrong item I brushed it off. I will cut to the chase - as a solo business traveler I am fortunate to experience many fine restaurants at different price points all over the U.S. I would give the KC Bravo and it's manager Marty a zero or negative rating if possible.
